  It's Christmas at The Thislte and Hive In and Edna Campbell couldn't be happier. She sent all of her time traveling friends and their families a special invitation delivered by Beira herself to meet at the bridge on December 22, where'll they'll be transported through time from the year 1516 to present day Glendoloch. It should be a joyful occasion, but things just mat not go exactly as planned when sixteenth century highlanders and their 21st century tribes invade this small village.

  She is a incredibly gifted time travel author who knows who to keep your attention in one fell swoop. I bought and read book 1, book 2, book 3, book 4, and then this one. I have also bought book 5. I love it how Miss Vale keeps using the same charters and giving them their own book because it makes you feel like you are a part of this wonderful medevial/modern family. She is a master story teller and trust me when I say if you love time travel this is the series for you
• What a wonderful magik Christmas read. In this book you have witches and time traveling higlanders, family, friends young and old. This was an interesting read one that will have you going back and reading each couples stories. The Little ones in this story will have you smiling ear to ear and the love every shares is just a good feeling. All characters were wonderful except Ashley her and her anxiety was a bit much but as a new mom in 1516 with no modern medicine and immunizations seeing a future that has all that would be tempting to keep my baby safe. All in all a decent read.
• I received this arc for my honest review. I loved this story and if you have read the other books in this series you will be delighted to see your favorite characters revisited. I love all time travel stories and especially ones that are in Scotland and the Thistle and Hive series was wonderful. All the people that Edna has helped find their hea come back to visit her for a family Christmas celebration in the 21st century, some have come from the 1500's and find some fears of going back and wonder if they really want to return after the visit. You have to really get this book to see how it turns out, it's a great read.
• I've read the complete series and only found this book by chance, I am so glad I did. This book brought closure even though the ninth book was the last in the series.
  The feeling this book evoked was gladness.

• I love Edna!!! She creates happy situations for those who are in doubt. She helps people find themselves. This book was a Christmas delight!
• Yes this story was definitely a Christmas Treat from Jennae Vale. The storyline was absolutely wonderful. Ms Vale has an unforgettable writing style that keeps you wanting more stories. This book was a fun story to read and I believe you will find a strong similarity between the author and the character of Marissa. Highly recommend.
• Having read the series and loved it this Christmas Novella was a wonderful way to catch up with all the characters and see what they are up to. It reminds you of what went before and just keeps you wanting more. so I cant wait to see where the next book takes us and even the next generation. Such a great story for anyone who loves time travel romances. Definitely start with Book 1 to lead you to A Thistle & Hive Christmas. It will be an interesting road to travel
