- I liked the variety of recipes. The instructions are good. Some of the recipes are a little complicated. Most of them are bread pudding recipes.
- I choose 4 stars because I love puddings and the recipes are so easy. I have already tried the butterscotch pudding and it was great and so easy. I would recommend these recipes to any one who like to made things from scratch, which I love to do.

- The English have a different conception of pudding than Americans. It is not always a soft custard. You will have plenty of recipes in this book that you can make with common ingredients and easy to follow directions. It makes your mouth water reading them. Which one to try first. I have this picture of a very stiff English man sitting at the dinner table eating, not saying a word to his wife and children. He suddenly finishes what is on his plate looks at the serving maid and says where is the pudding. With so many recipes you could have a different one every night for quite some time before starting over again.
